Aris Carastathis is an Associate Professor of Theory and Composition at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario. In 1995 he was admitted as an Associate Composer of the Canadian Music Centre. A composer of over fifty works, he has received numerous commissions including the Baton Rouge Symphony Chamber Orchestra and the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra. His works have been performed in Canada, the United States, England, and Germany.
