Studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Copenhagen 1950-54, clarinettist at the Royal Guards 1955-60. Further studies with Vagn Holmboe. From 1964 cooperation with prof. Joseph Beuys at the Düsseldorf Academy. His production includes a number of compositions in free style.
