Agesilao Ferrazzano and Julio Pollero, both violinists, conductors and composers born in the last decade of the nineteenth century, formed in 1926 the ensemble La Tipica Ferrazano-Pollero to record for the Victor label. Additionally, each of them joined several other orchestras. Together, they composed a few tangos, among them the most famous was Cuando tu me quieras (1926), with lyrics by Francisco Bohigas.
