Was born 1956 in Munich, he studied guitar with Betho Davezac and Oscar Caceres (Paris) and composition with Gerard Rheyne (Lyon). He was awarded first and second prize in the International Competition for Guitar and Chambermusic (Berlin, 1989) and has written music for Alvaro Pierri, Assad Guitar Duo and Kronos Quartet. He has written many works for guitar solo and ensemble, several having been published by Edition Lemoine (Paris) and Zimmermann (Frankfurt).
