Stevan Malek (b. 1904) published a guitar volume in 1933, with Jovan Frajt as editor. The album contains 24 pieces based on Yugoslav folk themes, arranged for solo guitar and some for voice and guitar. Being a professional musician and playing several instruments, Malek left the former Yugoslavia in 1943 and went to Germany.
