Jan W(ilhelm) Morthenson - (b Örnsköldsvik, 7 April 1940). Swedish composer. He studied at Uppsala University and Darmstadt, and has been motivated, like Kagel, by a view of music as decadent and disintegrating. He has been a prolific writer on theory.
