Greek guitarist and teacher; emigrated to US in 1914; became established in Washington where he founded the Washington Guitar Society. Directed the Columbia School of Music from 1922; author of a method and editor for Columbia Music. As publisher (Columbia Music Corp.) he produced numerous transcriptions.
