Richer, Jeannine (Janine) - French composer and lecturer, born in 1924. She studied at Rouen and at the Paris Conservatory. Her teachers were Max Deutsch and Arnold Schoenberg. She also studied electronic music with Jean Etienne Marie at the International Center of Music Research. She taught at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris until 1972.
