Trained at the Royal Academy in Copenhagen (piano, organ, music theory). The most prolific composer in the history of Danish music, Bentzon left more than 600 compositions including 24 symphonies, 14 string quartets and 8 piano concerts. His largest work is the “Tempered Piano” in 13 volumes comprising 624 seperate movements. Bentzon was also active as a pianist, 'happening' and fluxus artist, debater and writer of poems, essays and novels.
