Today Gilardino has sent me a PDF file that contains the preview of the Concerto di Oliena.
The work is for Guitar and Orchestra (archi (4.4.3.2.1), timpani, fiati (Piccolo, 1 fl., 1 ob., 1 cn. ing., 1 cl.,1 fg.) and after a first listening in mp3 format I have been impressed by the fire and ancient pathos that permeates the whole work.
Currently I am working to the “Concerto dell’Argentarola” by Ennio Porrino and now, I will begin the study of this new concert for Guitar and Orchestra. There is no better way to begin the summer!
