Scuola Civica di Nuoro: la nuova sede – Cristiano Porqueddu

Tengo il Corso di Chitarra presso la Scuola Civica "Antonietta Chironi" di Nuoro da oltre vent'anni e nel corso di questo lasso di tempo la sede è cambiata per tre volte. L'ultima era già un'ottima sede per una scuola di musica con aule ampie e (cosa per me tutt'altro che trascurabile) uno splendido panorama.

Panorama del quale - ahimé! - ho dovuto fare a meno perché la Scuola Civica di Nuoro si è trasferita meno di due settimane fa giorni fa in una nuova fiammante sede frutto della ristrutturazione di un istituto di scuole medie inferiori. Il risultato è davvero sorprendente e lo si può immaginare visualizzando alcune foto che ho fatto nei giorni appena trascorsi. La stessa struttura - da quel che ho capito - è talmente grande che dovrebbe ospitare, in un'altra ala, anche le sedi degli organismi culturali nuoresi.

Sarò docente in questa scuola fino al 2025 a seguito del concorso pubblico di pochi mesi fa. Inoltre, da quest'anno, per i Corsi di Perfezionamento (quelli dedicati agli allievi già in possesso di diploma) è aperta la possibilità di iscrizione dall'estero con lezioni a distanza.

I have been teaching the Guitar Course at the “Antonietta Chironi” Civic School in Nuoro for more than twenty years, and during this time the school has changed location three times. The most recent one was already an excellent setting for a music school, with spacious classrooms and — an aspect far from negligible for me — a splendid view.

A view that I have unfortunately had to give up, since the Scuola Civica di Nuoro moved less than two weeks ago into a brand‑new building created from the renovation of a former middle school. The result is truly remarkable, as you can easily imagine from the photos I took over the past few days. The structure itself — from what I understand — is so large that it will also host, in another wing, the headquarters of various cultural institutions in Nuoro.

I will continue teaching at this school until 2025, following the public competition held a few months ago. Moreover, starting this year, the Advanced Courses (reserved for students already holding a diploma) are open to international enrollment, with the possibility of attending lessons remotely.
